Emerge & Evolve helps research consortia turn knowledge into use — through dedicated coordination of partners, impact planning, and translation, across the full life of a project.
Start a conversationThe problem
Impact doesn't happen automatically. Most of a project's impact is decided by how the engagement is set up — roles, responsibilities, partner engagement — long before research insights arrive. That work is real, continuous, and usually no one's job. We make it our job.
What we do
Across a consortium's full duration, one person is responsible for the work that makes research land — so impact is planned, executed, and monitored, not left to chance.
Shaping partner input, the theory of change, and the impact plan before the project is funded.
Keeping partner engagement live; translating and disseminating results as they emerge.
Dissemination, exit reflection, and scoping what comes next.
Why it matters
NWO recommends that funded consortia appoint a dedicated owner for their Impact Plan. This is the function that answers that recommendation.
NWO-aligned, and actually executed — not a document filed and forgotten.
We take care of the impact work and keep you up to date, bringing you the decisions, the progress, and anything you should know about, early and clearly. You stay in charge of the project; you just have less to manage day to day.
Structured partner engagement shortens the distance between a finding and its application.
Failure modes are anticipated and planned around, not discovered late.
Our approach
You remain the final decision-maker. We provide structured insight, tools, and execution support.
Support runs through the whole project, while safeguarding your time.
Activities flex with evolving project dynamics across multi-year research trajectories.
Clarity, open communication, and mutual trust throughout.
About
Emerge & Evolve is founded by Nagarjun Reddy. He holds a PhD from TU Delft, Department of Transport and Planning, where he conducted research in a multi-partner NWO consortium project. He also worked in industry, covering areas of smart mobility and traffic management. He brings first-hand experience inside multi-partner consortia — across academic, government, and industry worlds — and in the space between academic rigour and real-world application.
Emerge & Evolve is built on first-hand observations, experiences, and learnings: impact needs the right conditions, the right relationships, and someone dedicated to making knowledge move.
Contact
A proposal in preparation, a project underway, or just a conversation — we would like to hear from you.
We are also open to working with industry, government partners, and research organisations on knowledge-utilisation challenges. If that's you, we would be glad to talk.
